Tactical Teaching

Professional Development Courses

Tactical Teaching is a series of three non-sequential, intensive, highly practical workshops of 2 hours duration, in Speaking and Listening, Thinking or Reading. The workshops and associated course books provide practical, hands-on approaches and activities that can be easily implemented in  middle and high school settings.  Teachers can take ideas straight back to their classrooms and successfully support students deal with the literacy demands in their subject as well as enhancing the understanding of content.

Teachers, schools, and districts can access a range of comprehensive and highly practical Tactical Teaching professional development courses.  All courses are designed to enhance teacher practice and improve student outcomes.

Facilitator Courses

Facilitator Courses (Train-the-Trainer) are specifically crafted to help participants take on the various roles of PRESENTER, SUPPORTER, and USER as they implement Tactical Teaching across learning areas.
